CAIR's Director in Michigan: A Man of Many Tongues

Dawud Walid

Hat tip Republican Party Animals

CAIR's director in Michigan, Dawud Walid, still has a few people thinking he is a true Muslim moderate. That's because when he speaks at those interfaith events, he is all sweetness and roses. What he says to his Muslim audiences is apparently a different thing according to which audio tapes you care to believe. The below article by my friend and colleague David Stein at Republican Party Animals is well worth a read.

Also worth a read is what the Investigative Project on Terrorism says about Walid.

Here is Walid speaking to a crowd in New York's Foley Square during a protest against the NYPD surveillance program. Here he invokes the name of his late friend, the gun-toting Imam Luqman Abdullah, who had been killed in a shootout with the FBI in Detroit.

Nice friends Walid keeps-at least when he isn't at those inter-faith meetings.
