Shaima Alawadi
As we know, the recent murder of Shaima Alawadi in El Cajon, California has sparked charges of "Islamophobic hate crime". Just this week, I posted an article posted by the Islamic Circle of North America, which trumpeted that charge.

Now U-T San Diego (San Diego Union Tribune) has published an update on the investigation which casts some doubt on the theory that this was a hate crime. It seems a divorce may have been in the works between the Alawadis.
