Convicted Jihadi Gets Standing Ovation in Boston Courtroom

Hat tip Vlad Tepes

Yesterday, convicted jihadi Tarek Mehanna appeared in a Boston federal court court to be sentenced to 17 and 1/2 years. The courtroom was packed with his supporters, who gave him a standing ovation. Here is the report. The video speaks volumes.

Many of these supporters are from the Boston Islamic Center, which has openly supported Mehanna. It is a mosque with direct ties to Yusuf al Qaradawi, the Jew-hating spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood. This has not prevented some leading Jewish leaders in Boston from engaging in outreach and interfaith meetings with this mosque. When Charles Jacobs of Americans for Peace and Tolerance warned his Jewish community about the connections of this mosque, he was vilified within said community by said leaders.

Maybe they will listen now.

Gary, you love to compare faces...

...this guy has a remarkable resemblance to George Zimmerman... certainly more so than Rachel Maddow to Timothy Geithner.
