ZOA Response to UC President Yudof's Statement

The Zionist Organization of America has issued a letter in response to University of California president Mark Yudof on the issue of  anti-Semitic acts on UC campuses.

As ZOA says, there is still much to be done. A good start would be for Mr Yudof to attend Louis Farrakhan's speech tomorrow at Berkeley and tell Farrakhan that he is a hate-monger and shame on the Black Students Union for bringing him to speak.

I applaud the ZOA organization for their well worded letter to Mr. Mark Yudof. The suggested solutions to the anti-Semitism on the UC campuses are constructive. I also agree with Gary, in that Yudof should go to the Farrakhan presentaton and make his presence known. If Louis wants to rant anti-Semitic spew, Yudof can respond, in kind, to condemn such speech, as anti-Semitic and admonish the group that invited him. Yudof's response is his opinion and not a violation of free speech.

Absolutely. In fact, I think he has a moral duty to do just that. What a statement that would make.
