California's Insanity and Jerry Brown

"Run-down "Jerry Brown

"Yes, we have no money, but let's buy some bananas."

I don't know if they teach this stuff in college economics 101, but it seems to me if you are out of money, you don't go out and shop on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills or buy a new yacht. Yet that is exactly what our once and present governor, "Run-down", Jerry Brown proposes we do as outlined in this Orange County Register editorial from today.

So here we are in the state with the highest income tax, highest gas tax, highest sales tax and highest corporate taxes in the West-and it's never enough. Brown campaigned on the slogan, "No new income taxes-without voter approval." So now he is fulfilling his promise-by trying to put it on the November ballot. You might think that's like asking Marie Antoinette if she should go to the guillotine, but Brown is hoping that the screaming mob now constitutes a majority in the state, which is a possibility since tax-payers and businesses are leaving in droves while being replaced by illegal aliens, occupiers and grifters who the Democrats want to turn into voters.

Yes, we have no money, but we will have a California Dream Act  And don't forget that high speed railroad that we so desperately need. Didn't Brown ever take an economics class when he was in college?

Don't answer that question.

There is not sufficient sarcasm in the universe to adequately describe the repeated Republican objection to letting voters decide on whether to tax themselves, and for what purpose.
