Today's breaking news is yet another attempt to carry out an act of jihad against the US.

Rather than harp on the usual theme, I would like to make a couple of novel observations about this case.
First of all, this case involves a man from Kosovo. Maybe I need my memory refreshed, but didn't we (under the Clinton administration) send our military to intervene in Kosovo on behalf of the Muslim population?
Secondly, have you noticed how many of these jihadists in the US have not only managed to get into the US, but have become American citizens?
"Yeh, I did."
What am I not getting here? It used to be that people came to this country and eventually became American citizens with a great sense of pride and appreciation. (Actually, most still do.) If one hates this country so much and wants to kill our people, why become an American citizen? (I know. It's a dumb question.)
That's gratitude for you.

You mean like the French and Italian anarchists who killed President Garfield and tried to kill President Roosevelt?
Last study I read, Sacco may have been guilty, Vanzetti probably innocent. In any case, the only crime they were convicted of was not an act of terrorism, but a simple robbery, for the money. They may have been targeted for being anarchists, but they were not throwing bombs or targeting police.
Sacco's son Dante died in the 1970s without ever talking about what the family knew. He was a successful businessman and a moderate Republican as far as I've read.
