Muslim Reformists Attacked in Amsterdam

The blog, Doc's Talk, has a report on the recent disruption in Amsterdam of an event featuring two Muslim reformists, Irshad Manji, a Canadian Muslim and lesbian and Tofik Dibi, a Dutch parliamentarian. There was a civilized discussion in progress until the barbarians showed up. The below article is by Doc's Talk followed by a video actually produced of the incident by Shariah4Holland and Shariah4Belgium and posted here by Vlad Tepes blog.

I am unable to translate the rant in Dutch by the young man near the end of the tape, but he does refer twice to Manji as a lesbian. The word, "kuffir" (infidel)is also used. So much for tolerance.

I am not aquainted with Mr Dibi, but I am acquainted with Manji, who has written a book entitled, "The Trouble With Islam Today". She has put her life on the line to speak out against the radical Islamists.

What I find interesting is the apparently small police presence as
security, especially considering what has been going on in Holland for several years, beginning with the savage murder of Theo van Gogh and the threats against Ayaan Hirsi Ali for making a film critical of Islam's treatment of women.

This is what liberalism has brought to Holland. It means now that they must tolerate intolerance itself in the name of tolerance. If you are confused about that, so am I.
