The Latest Puzzling Commentary From Chris Matthews

Hat tip to Hot Air

Chris Matthews made another comment on his "Goofball" show on MSNBC that should be stored in the National Archives when he accused the Republican voters of....

HATE.

Yes, folks. That is why they can't decide on who the front-runner in the primary should be. HATE.

Chris goes on to explain that the Republican voters are afraid of experience, notwithstanding the fact that Newt Gingrich has just risen to the top of the polls. Some logic.

He then goes on to dismiss the field of candidates (minus Gingrich and Romney, of course) to "political walk-ons" and lists several them derisively, ending with,

"Are you people serious?"

Hey Chris! Was Barack Obama a political walk-on? Has he shown that he has the stuff to lead?

Strange duck, Mr Matthews.

Remember when David Duke said of Newt Gingrich, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery"?

Of course Newt is up in the polls. Republican primary voters are desperate to find someone who hasn't made a complete donkey's rear end of themselves. This fad will last about as long as it takes for Newt's third wife to appear behind a microphone with her mouth open.
