First, Asst. Attorney General Lanny Breuer tries to fall on his sword for Eric Holder on Fast and Furious. Now Energy Secretary Steven Chu, who is testifying before Congress this morning, is trying to take the fall for the Obama administration on Solyndra. Hot Air has a preliminary report.

It is clear what the MO for this administration is when it comes to scandals; find someone who can take the blame. If you can't shove it off to ATF street agents, pick someone lower than Eric Holder (and Obama) to fall on their sword. In the case of Solyndra, if you can't blame lowly auditors (who knew Solyndra was a bad risk) then make Chu an offer he can't refuse.
I hope the Republicans questiuoning him will pin him down on the question of who pressured him to approve Solyndra. If Chu wants to cover up for his superiors, then force him to commit perjury. Then , hopefully, a special prosecutor can make him an offer he can't refuse.

I totally agree with your analysis. Force a perjury, and do a deal, to sink Obama. When Van Jones got his walkijg papers, he was set-up with the Soros folks. Now Van Jones is doing fine.

Gary, your fertile (if self-serving) imagination wouldn't even make good thriller fiction novels. Not enough variety, and no chance for any suspense to build in the reader's mind. Hope you got your cheap thrills out of this stuff, becaue nobody else has. (Squid is the exception who proves the rule).

You should go over Chu's testimony today. If he alone made the call, as he says, he should resign for his gross error of judgement. If he says nobody influnced him to appove it, he is committing perjury.
