UN Human Rights Section Wants Probe of Qaddafi's Death

That's right. The UN Human Rights Office is calling into an investigation into the death of Muammar Qaddafi yesterday. And why not? Until recently, Libya was a member of that prestigious panel.

Let me save you the trouble. They captured him still alive, pushed him around a bit, called him an ibn sharmota a few times, and finished him off.

What's an ibn sharmota, you ask?

You don't wanna know.

But if you insist, may I suggest my own list of investigators?

Jimmy Carter
Noam Chomsky
Norman Finkelstein
Rusty Kennedy (Orange County Human Relations Commission)

I'll  even throw in People of the World's Exhibit A:

"That's him alright."

There. Case closed.

(Meanwhile, they're keeping him on ice.)

I'd like to recommend UCI's own Mark Levine for the panel. He would fit right in but, considering all the hatreds between different Arab groups, he would have to be vetted first. I'm not sure if he is Sunni or Shia or what Quadafi was.

Van Jones, Eric Holder and even Obama should also be considered.

God forbid any CIA folks were involved. Holder might open a case on them too.

I would like to nominate Malik Ali, the UCI MSU, and the "Irvine 11". Should any of these distinguished panelists be unable to serve, perhaps the OTI might then be considered?

Gary I don't often see eye-to-eye with you politically, but this article is damn funny. You really need to get a mainstream column in some local or online mag, it would be very popular.

(Qadaffi is claimed as part-Jewish by some Libyan Jewish Israelis. Perhaps Bibi should be on the panel, if there ever is one.)
