ABC News (October 8, 2011)
If you still believe that the people occupying Wall Street (and other places) represent 99% of the American people, read this article from today's New York Post.

Can you say, "Woodstock"?
Here's my favorite part of the article:
"You are fulfilling the words of the prophet Isaiah. You have thrown off the yoke. Occupy, occupy, occupy!” shouted Warren Goldstein, chair of the history department at the University of Hartford in Connecticut."
Chair of the history department at the University of Hartford...
Now compare this to the Tea Party rallies, where nobody gets arrested, where the most common sight is the American flag, where everybody obeys the law, where there is no violence, where everybody cleans up after themselves.
Perhaps, I should add that nobody does drugs and nobody has public sex. What you see at Tea Party rallies are average, everyday people who love their country. In spite of all that, the Democrats, media, academia, and the Hollywood types condemn them as racists and extremists even though their main issue is the increasing size and power of a runaway government.
And how do the Democrats treat the riff-raff described in the Post article? Nancy Pelosi says," God bless them". She says that she supports them in sending their message to the "establishment" as she told that elitist reporter Christiiane Amanpour. Never mind that Nancy herself is part of the establishment.
President Obama says he "empathizes" with them. Below is President Obama seen empathizing with the protesters. (Well he should. He used to be one of them.)
And of course, the mad-hatters at MSNBC are actually physically with them doing their shows from Zuccotti Park. God only knows what they are doing with the protesters once they go off the air.
Here is what I hope happens; I would like to see these protests continue right through 2012 and right up to November with Obama and the Democrats giving them all the moral support they want. Then the American voters can have a clear picture of what their choices are.

Gary--did you not show the wrong end of the horse??
It is costing the city of New York $3 million in overtime for the cops alone. There is a shortage in some precincts and response times are down.
The stench is overwhelming as is the environmental damage. I predict that even though these idiots have brought in solar power plants and electric heaters, many will have frostbitten toes, fingers and dangly bits this winter.
Here's a good spin on that photo: Republican undercover operatives enjoy a romp in the middle of the OWS encampment, while the third member of their team takes photos to distribute to the press.
Do I believe that? No, but its as good a spin as anything else coming out of the media and the political parties' endless stream of press releases.
