Steve Emerson Weighs in on "Irvine 11"

Steve Emerson and the Investigative Project on Terrorism have weighed in on the verdict of the so-called Irvine 11.

I will limit my comments here. Emerson is spot on. Any comparisons with Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks are insulting to the memory of two great Americans. If these young men want to go down as "martyrs", I find it strange they and their followers/supporters don't want to accept the consequences of their actions (probabtion, fine and community service).

I also feel that the so-called "supporters" are doing them a disservice-exploiting them, if you will- by playing this martyr game. Stop with this "Irvine 11" crap.

Good thing for Emerson he stuck to straight news reporting, except for his last paragraph. He quoted the DA, who was right, and the Irvine 11 and their defenders, whose own words convicted them. Maybe he should do more news reporting and less "analysis" in the future. He does know how to write in English.

An excellent piece by Emerson. I am glad that researchers such as Emerson are staying with this story, to expose the Islamists and there effort to impose sharia upon America.
Notice when the District Attorney published the revealing emails and videos, the Muslim Brotherhood NGOs pulled back their offense. Also, the OC Register, who considered the case to be too punitive, stopped their support for the Muslim Brotherhood inspired MSU.
The rule of law prevailed and that is what matters!

Squid,

Right on. Once you separate the CAIR/ACLU crowd and the pinheads in academia, nobody is shedding tears for the "IRVINE 11".
