This is classic! A friend of mine wrote to Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) about his concerns regarding the ATF/DOJ Fast and Furious scandal. Here is Senator Boxer's response:
"Dear Dr. (name deleted),
Thank you for taking the time to write and share your views with me. Your comments will help me continue to represent you and other Californians to the best of my ability. Be assured that I will keep your views in mind as the Senate considers legislation on this or similar issues.

Well, that's more than I got back from Ron Johnson, when I wrote to let him know that I expected him to support the president's jobs bill. And did Ron listen to me? Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Your friend is getting special treatment.
Remember when Barbara Boxer was a brunette? Circa 1988?
