"You can't prove nothin'"
As another weapon involved in a crime was disclosed to have been purchased during the ATF's Fast and Furious operation, Eric Holder has again denied that he or any other high-level Justice officials were in the know about the operation.

Which leads me to question:
It has been disclosed already that several federal law enforcement agency heads held a meeting regarding Fast and Furious and that a Justice Department official was present. That person has been identified as Lanny Breuer, Asst Attorney General in the Criminal Division. (That doesn't sound like some fresh kid out of law school to me.) I wonder to whom Breuer reported back to at Justice after attending that meeting.

If the US Attorney's Office in Phoenix was involved in the operation-as they clearly were- then who at main Justice in Washington were they reporting to?
If the ATF Phoenix agent in charge, William Newall, was supplying high level national security advisor, Kevin O'Reilly in the White House about Fast and Furious, does it make sense that Holder was in the dark-let alone the President?
Holder's denials strain credulity. He may soon be reduced to saying, "Prove it if you can."
It all comes back to an old DEA story told to me by one of my fellow agents. During the time of Watergate, he and a partner were interviewing a prostitute in jail. During the interview, the conversation came around to Watergate, and one of the agents asked the woman if she thought Nixon was involved. She stated, "I may not have a lot of education, Honey, but I know one thing. You don't get to be queen of the whores by bein' no virgin."

There is almost nothing going on in any federal agency that that the responsible cabinet officer could keep on top of in any detail. Government is that big. Perhaps that's a problem, but what Holder says is credible.
Besides, nobody has established that this operation was malfeasance of any kind. I suspect the gun dealers who are facing potential trouble have gotten their favorite whores in congress to whip up the faux scandal in hopes they won't have to face prosecution.
Holder should "Stay the course."

You could say that you are indulging in an ideologically driven tirade devoid of concern for facts, and devoid of serious analysis. But I don't expect you to admit that. You never have.
