Below, Bloomberg News has a heartwarming story about how Harvard's students are being asked to sign a pledge of "kindness and inclusion". In gratitude for signing the pledge, Harvard even posted the names of all the signees for everyone to see. Isn't that great? Of course, those who don't sign will remain anonymous, right?

I guess that means that conservative speakers will now be welcome to speak at Harvard without any fear of disruption and rude treatment.
I guess that means that those students with more conservative and traditional views will be treated with "kindness and inclusion", right?
I guess Harvard will give back those millions of dollars from Prince Alwaleed bin Talal to establish that Israel-hating Middle Eastern Studies Department, right?
I wonder if Harvard's Muslim chaplain, Taha Abdul-Basser signed the pledge of kindness to Muslim apostates.

This reminds me of when the governor signed an executive order "allowing" certain uniformed state employees to sew an American flag onto their uniform, as a response to 9/11. Of course, anyone who didn't "choose" to do so would stick out like a sore thumb.
It also reminds me of nit-picking questions about why Senator Barack Obama didn't wear a darn flag lapel pin every single day, as if that was part of the standard uniform for American citizens, or at least for politicians.
Any uniform I have seen with the flag sewn in, it was part of the uniform and all wore it.

Gary, you haven't seen every uniform ever worn in the United States. You were a federal officer, so perhaps your uniform had the flag of your employer sewn on without your having to ask for it as a special favor.
Scabs don't stick out like sore thumbs. They crawl around in sewers trying to stay out of sight.
