This is pretty incredible. Syria is massacring hundreds of protesters a day, the American ambassador comes to report on the situation before the US Senate, and only one Senator, Bob Casey (D-PA), takes the time to attend?

It just so happens that last night, I was watching C-Span and they were covering a hearing chaired by Barbara Boxer, that nincompoop who is senator from my state, California, and who is also a member of the above committee. She was questioning five members of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission about the disaster in Japan. Berating them is a better description. What an arrogant woman for someone with so little gray matter.
This is our government, Ladies and Gentlemen. It is pathetic.

Since they just re-elected her in 2010.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
Boxer is a goose. Too bad some fresh young face didn't challenge her in the primary. But the alternative was a washed up failed executive from H-P. No wonder they re-elected Boxer.
Boxer wins because California is inhabited by too many loons.
Yeah, the ones trying to depose her.
If they had intelligence, insight, grace, poise, compassion, and most of all, competence, she would have been a dead duck.
