Oh No! Now Operation Castaway-Guns From Florida to Honduras

"Guns? What guns?"

The ATF mess seems to be growing. Congress now is asking Eric Holder and ATF acting director Ken Melson about another operation run out of the ATF Tampa office that involved guns going into Honduras, a country suffering from  violence, shootings and murders. The Daily Caller has the report.

Attention mainstream media. You have a major story there. Go get it. Where are Woodward and Bernstein when you need them?

In addition Pajamas Media is reporting that one of the guns used to kill Border Patrol agent Jaime Zapata in Mexico in February has been traced to a similar operation in Texas. That shifts attention to the ATF Dallas and Houston field offices-and sadly I note to DEA as well..

Something is terribly wrong here. How many guns did the US Government allow to cross our border into Mexico and now Honduras, two countries plagued by gun violence-to put it mildly? How far up the ladder does this scheme go? I guarntee you highest person who approved this operation did not reside in Phoenix or Houston or Dallas. That person resides in Washington DC.

That's the undercover DEA man talking. What hypocritical rot.

The majority of the congress are a pack of raving hyenas worthy of the National Inquirer who would make a mountain out of any convenient molehill to distract the nation from their party's fiscal profligacy.

There's nothing in the media because there is no story, but Gary will keep talking about it until the cows come home. That's his way.

Siarlys,

Go back to sleep. I'll wake you when Holder is in jail.

I just wonder why it always seems to be the ATF? I really don't see much point to the agency frankly. Would it not be smart to disband it and fold some of the duties into another agency? Course some "cops" would lose their jobs probably but as said in "The Departed,"
"The world needs bartenders."

I have too much to do, I can't afford to sleep the rest of my life away. Chances are, he has absolute immunity anyway. You don't think anyone was paying him to give you this cheap shot, do you?
