Malmo, Sweden-The Continuing Problem of Hate

Hat tip to Sweden, Israel and the Jews

The below-linked article is written by the editor of the blog, Sweden, Israel and the Jews. The writer is a Jew who recently chose to leave Malmo due to on-going attacks by Muslim immigrants and the open hostility of the city's mayor, Ilmar Reepalu.

As one who has been following the sad situation in Malmo, it seems to me that if anti-Semitic hate crimes in Malmo have decreased, it might just have something to do with the fact that Malmo's Jews are leaving in droves-with open encouragement from Reepalu.

Gee, could muslime antisemitism have anything to do w/the pervasive, explicit antisemitism found all throughout the holy Quran and hadeeths?

In Sahih Muslim: Book 041, Number 6985:
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.

Last year at an interfaith event at Chapman University, I asked the visiting imam about that verse. His answer was that Islam had a team of experts studying the hadith and determining which ones were historically valid. Apparently, the decision had not come back at that time.
