The Latest Mumbai Terror Attack
Another day-another bomb. This time in Mumbai, India (again). At this point, 21 are dead.

Main suspects? Lashkar-e-Taiba, militant Islamist group (for lack of a better word) in Pakistan.
Pakistan. What a country.

Not the Amish? Are they sure?

Miggie,
I hear a horse-drawn buggy was seen fleeing the scene.
Good thing they have an eye witness, Gary, I thought they were going to pin it on the ROP, again.
I think I missed it in the article, but what was the sin of these victims? I know on the previous Mumbai attack they singled out the one Chabad house in the city before the rest of the mayhem. What were these guys doing, shopping in a market instead of praying in a mosque as they should have been?
India, not Pakistan, should be our main ally in that area. What is wrong with our State Dept.?
.
Yeah, partition was a stupid idea, and supporting General Zia ul-Haq was worse, but its a little late to put the toothpaste back in the tube now.
We could wash our hands of the whole place if it wasn't for
a) our supply lines to landlocked Afghanistan, and,
b) that nuclear stockpile.
(Anonymous, go find yourself a menagerie to run. You obviously know nothing about human beings except for some aptitude to pin labels on them).
Miggie: it goes back to Nixon and Kissinger... they were worried about socialism in India. Then Bush was worried about supply lines into Afghanistan, and instead to kicking butt and leaving, he got us mired into sticking around. Now, President Obama has to deal with the entire military chain of command who are loath to pull out, although it might not be a bad idea.
@Siarlys,
How many Sikhs and Hindus are left in Pakistan these days?
I notice you have no problems w/the state-sanctioned persecution of people of other faiths practiced in all Islamonazi states so I won't bother to bring it up WRT Pakistan.
If you want to support islamonazism do it on YOUR DIME, not mine.
I don't believe I've ever taken a dime of your money Anonynazi. Nor have I defended Pakistan. I said it was a lousy idea, and so was our support for it over the years. I merely pointed out a few logistical considerations that real people with real responsibilities have to deal with, unlike those of us who merely kick our opinions around on obscure web sites. Typing a few words into a box comes very, very, cheap. People currently on the ground in Afghanistan, even if it would have been a good idea to pull them out in 2003, pay in blood.
