According to the below Fox News report, the acting head of the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) is accusing the Justice Department of trying to cover up the scandal involving illegal guns being allowed to cross the border into Mexico rather than be interdicted. Now it is being reported that the principle target of ATF's investigation was an FBI informant-unbeknownst to the ATF.

It is clearly time for folks like Eric Holder and his top aides to be put under oath and asked to testify.

It's really time for everyone involved to be called into the White House to explain themselves around one table. They all work for the President, at least technically. I suspect that senior civil servants are used to the idea that 'presidents come and go, but we're always in charge.'
