Praise for Bin Laden From Muslim American Society Official

Hat tip to Investigative Project on Terrorism

Here is a tidbit from the IPT on Khalilah Sabra of the Muslim American Society commenting on the death of Usama bin Laden.

http://www.investigativeproject.org/2832/mas-official-bin-laden-a-visionary

"He was a visionary who believed in the possibility of an Islamic state in Afghanistan and the possibility that this thing might someday be," Sabra wrote. "There was nothing wrong with that dream, even if it differs from that one that all Americans have here for themselves."

In 1997, bin Laden described his vision of a Muslim leader "who can unite them and establish the 'pious caliphate.' The pious caliphate will start from Afghanistan" and spread from there."

Yes, Khalilah. And Adolf Hitler was a visionary who believed in the possibility of a world-wide German caliphate-free of Jews. He also did good works. Why, he built the Autobahn and helped create the Volkswagen. And, in the end, he went out on his own terms rather than be captured by the Soviets, didn't he?

"Good news, Mein Fuehrer. You can always settle for a caliphate."

Another note: There was an Islamic state in Afghanistan while he was living there under the protection of the Taliban. And what a state it was!

"Imagine all the people........"

-John Lennon

Final note: Is this a typical reaction among American Muslims? I think not.

orange county human relations commission executive director rusty kennedy's defense of siddiqi to those who protested siddiqi's connections to Islamic terrorist factions "half truths that are drawn out into some kind of cyber-reality because they're repeated so often. " Osama bin laden did not orchestrate planes into the twin towers and other acts of terrorism. he really was a visionary maligned by cyber-reality. "Cyber-reality"? isn't that freedom of the press and freedom of speech?

Our criticisms of Siddiqi were not half truths.

Nor is Siddiqi equivalent to bin Laden.

Who said Siddiqi was equivalent to bin Laden?
