One Fine Day in Gothenburg






That would be today in Gothenburg (Goteborg), Sweden's second largest city, as crowds marched both for and against a Saudi-funded mosque. Before it was all over, rocks had been thrown at police and arrests were made. (Hat tip to Vlad Tepes blog).









I wonder whatever happened to Bjorn Borg.

Off hand, my solution would be to invoke currency controls to keep the Saudi money out, recognize the right of any legal residents in the country to build any mosque they want, and then let them hold bake sales to cover the costs.
