Hannity Hosts Ahmed Bedier and Zuhdi Jasser

This evening Sean Hannity had on Dr. Zuhdi Jasser and Ahmed Bedier to discuss the Koran-burning by Pastor Terry Jones and the resulting violence in Afghanistan. If you watched and felt some tension in the air that's because there was some.

For background, Zuhdi Jasser is a truly moderate Muslim and head of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy (linked on this site). He is a stalwart opponent of radical Islamism and any intent to incorporate Sharia  law into our system. On the other hand, Bedier is one of those phony moderates, who have managed to weave their way into the higher levels of power-such as Florida Governor Rick Scott, who has embraced him. A former CAIR leader in Tampa, Florida, he runs a misleadingly-named group called United Voices for America, and is the architect of a Florida-based movement called Muslim Capitol Day, which is spreading to other states. He is the epitome of stealth jihad on the part of the Muslim Brotherhood and their US affiliates.

It was obvious that even though Jasser and Bedier both criticized Jones' action, they didn't see eye to eye or even like each other. My sources tell me that while preparing for the filming, Bedier made a statement to the effect that burning a Koran has consequences and Pastor Jones had better understand that.

Bedier was in Cairo on Tahrir Square during the eventful days surrounding the protests and Hosni Mubarak's departure. Below is a photo of him demonstrating.

Governor Scott needs to wake up and learn what Ahmed Bedier is all about.

Who thinks those guys who murdered UN workers aren't crazy? Obviously, they are nuts.

Admed Bedier is a natural ally for Governor Scott's brand of pseudo "conservatism." America's TV evangelists share a lot in common with Salafist Islam. So do their political cohorts.
