Once again, the National Association of Women (NOW) has demonstrated what a bunch of hypocrites they are. This past week Bill Maher referred to Sarah Palin as a "twat", which, when I was a teen-ager, was a vulger term for a vagina. (I had not heard it in decades until Maher dragged it out of the attic.) One would have expected NOW to spring into action, right?
Think again.

You see, Bill Maher is a liberal. That means NOW ignores it. Just as they have ignored the horrific treatment of women in places like Saudi Arabia, Pakistan or Iran (honor killings, stonings for adultresses, etc).
Here is NOW's dirty little secret. What they are really about is liberal, Democratic politics and abortion rights. Once you set aside those concerns, they really don't care about issues like honor killings, stonings, or whether liberal figures act like sexist bores or call conservatives like Palin vulgar, sexist terms.
(Can't believe I called someone a sexist.)
So all it boils down to is that Maher is a jerk and NOW are a bunch of hypocrites with no credibility. If any feminists want to challenge me on this, please tell me why I am wrong.

Sarah Palin is a twit.
Bill Maher needs a remedial spelling class.
He wasn't writing, Siarlys, he was speaking. He didn't say twit. He said twat.
Buy the man a dictionary. We agree he's a cretin.
It all started when Barbara Bush called Geraldine Ferraro a(rhymes with "rich") and has been going downhill from there.
I don't like Bill Maher and think he is an arrogant ugly old duck.
