The below open letter to Claremont-McKenna College President Pam Gann from a Claremont parent appears in the Claremont (CA) Independent. It concerns a controversial Arabic-language professor named Bassam Frangieh.

It seems to me that the matter of Frangieh's alleged support for Hamas should be cleared up. Hamas, is after all, a US-designated terrorist organization.
