Cultural Crosswords.org has released a video regarding the Yorba Linda protest of February 13 in response to the CAIR version of the event, the latter of which attempts to link the organizers and speakers of the event to the hecklers who showed up.
The major feature that CAIR is downplaying is the nature of the invited speakers to the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) event-Amir Abdel Malik Ali and Sirah Wahhaj. This video gives you some background on them.
That, of course, does not justify the heckling that was directed toward the ICNA audience as they arrived later in the day-especially when children were present. It is clear that some people showed up who intended to go beyond the purpose of the protest. As one of the persons who spoke at Yorba Linda that day, I know that the organizers and the speakers of our protest were not involved with those hecklers.

Kind of muddled, in my seldom humble opinion. CAIR would naturally show all the protests that occurred, and make the most of it. Did the protesters at Ground Zero carefully distinguish between the sponsors of Cordoba House and al Qaeda? Gary Fouse has, sort of, a little, sometimes, but did the protesters? Did Newt Gingrich?
The speakers don't seem like my cup of tea, but if I had to deal with this Orange County crowd, I might wave my finger and tell them I have freedom of speech too. Why shouldn't a local resident reserve the community center for a purpose they wish to facilitate? The word "fund-raiser" is an open clue that there is an organization or cause involved.
Siarlys,
ICNA reserved the hall and held their fundraiser. I was not involved in trying to stop them from holding it. It was labeled as a charity event.
Fair enough Gary. I was mostly talking about the case made for the protests and against the fundraiser in the video. The speakers are worth protesting, just like George Lincoln Rockwell was. The case being made by the talkative blonde in the video was not convincing.
