Amir Abdel Malik Ali Has a Bad Day at UC-Davis

Our old friend Amir Abdel Malik Ali is on a bad run. After a disasterous performance at UC-Irvine last May and a rude reception last month in Yorba Linda, he was dismantled last month at UC Davis by community members who showed up to pin him down on his propaganda. The below video is dated February 22, 2011. Watch as he avoids answering the questions. (Hat tip to Pro-Israel Bay Bloggers) Keep in mind as you watch this that Ali was one of the featured speakers at the Yorba Linda rally that has aroused so much controversy.

You see, it's not that hard when dealing with Ali. He is a great speaker, but he lives on conspiracy theories. He also avoids the hard questions which are well-thought out. Ask him about death for apostates, the driving out of hundreds of thousands of Jews from Arab nations in 1948, or the crack down on dissidents in Iran and he resorts to the tried and true tactic of raising his voice and shouting about racism, apartheid, occupation, etc.  He thinks that his pure oratory will always carry the day. It won't.

Kudos to those community members who came to campus to confront this guy with his propaganda and lies. Just like was shown at UC-Irvine last May, the community needs to get involved when this circus act comes to their local campus.

I know the style of responding to questions you are talking about. The best response is to wait until they run out of breath, then sweetly observe, "How interesting. Now, about the hundreds of thousands of Jews run out of Arab countries?" OR "You have a real skill with oratory sir, but, you haven't answered my question about execution of apostates. Didn't Caliph Umar warmly welcome the aid of Jews in the capture of Jerusalem? And Tariq in the conquest of Iberia?

I can barely even listen to this guy. He does speak well, but he speaks crap that he's just making up as he goes along. He speaks with a voice of authority that no doubt impresses some rubes out there, but anybody who's a little more thoughtful sees what a carny he is.

According to an article by Gustavo Arellano in the OC Weekly:

Malik Ali spoke at a CAIR-sponsored event as recently as 2007and there is no record of CAIR condemning Malik Ali since.
