Jimmy Carter Does it Again-"Muslim Brotherhood Nothing to Be Afraid of"

Jimmy Carter is off his meds again. On Tuesday, Jimmy told a University of Texas audience that the Muslim Brotherhood was nothing to worry about.

I'm not making this up, folks. Remember, this is Jimmy Carter.

Of course, who should know better than Jimmy. He's been down this road before when he greased the skids for the Shah of Iran and look what happened. He also helped Anwar Sadat sign his death warrant when he got him to make that peace treaty with Israel, that the Brotherhood would abrogate if and when they take power in Egypt. Speaking of the Brothrhood and the assassination of Sadat..........

Would it not be ironic if Jimmy's benign Brotherhood came to power and wiped away the one accomplishment he can take credit for?

Thank you very much, President Carter. Here's your umbrella. It's bedtime now. Time for a glass of warm milk.

So, you are opposed to the peace treaty Egypt signed with Israel? That's another of Jimmy Carter's mistakes?

Go back and read the posting again.

OK, curious twist. First you blame Carter for signing Sadat's death warrant, then you acknowledge it as one of the few things he can take credit for... well, nobody ever said that what passes for "conservatism" these days has to be consistent in the space of three paragraphs.
