Talk about a three-ring circus. You can't get any better than when you have George Galloway, Norman Finkelstein and Yvonne Ridley all together at one event.
Yes, that would be a "Summer University of Palestine" held in Lebanon last July. The Investigative Project on Terrorism has the report.

Sorry. I have no idea who the other mope is.
Norman Finkelstein-"Independent scholar with a PHD from Princeton"
British journalist Yvonne Ridley- Taken prisoner by the Taliban-they threw her back
Not since the Three Stooges were in their heyday has anyone assembled three funnier characters at the same place at the same time.
"You know the Hizballah are special people. I've been involved in the Arab world for 35 years exactly. And I can tell you, with all respect to all others, Hizballah are a special Arab organization," Galloway told a room full of students attending Viva Palestina Arabia's "Summer University of Palestine" on July, 28, 2010."
They sure are George. Those are the same folks who blew up the Marine barracks in Lebanon.
Galloway, of course, is the bandy rooster who used to be a member of British Parliament. Now this modern-day version of Lord Ha Ha makes his living driving trucks full of goodies and bags full of cash to the boys of Hamas in Gaza.
Finkelstein may have a PHD, but he has no teaching job since DePaul gave him the gate for his crackpot "scholarship". Now he spends most of his time on airplanes flying around the world giving speeches to anyone who hates Israel. He has the personality of a broken bottle.
Ridley was a British journalist when 9-11 happened. She got busted by the Taliban trying to sneak into Afghanistan. They held her for awhile until they couldn't stand her anymore, so they cut her loose. She returned to the UK, converted to Islam, and makes the grande tour telling people what a harmless bunch of old curmudgeons the Taliban are (who also cut off peoples' heads and shoot women in soccer stadiums). She also works for Iran's Press TV. Of course, she hates Israel. Other than that, she's a lovely lady.
"Summer University of Palestine"
"Hezbollah Museum"
Galloway, Finkelstein and Ridley, Ladies and Gentlemen. You won't see their like on the same stage again.

this is great! i wish i could get a full video of this outstanding performance. i'd love to make this a fraternity comedy night.
Your description of Finkelstein reminds me of David Horowitz. Add him to the mix, and we'd have "The Four Horse Men&Women of the Apocalypse."
Siarlys,
Wrong. I have heard Horowitz speak. He speaks truth and common sense. Finkelstein is a crackpot. Another difference. When Finkelstein speaks, usually onb college campuses, he expects a friendly crowd. Horowitz goes on a college campus at his own risk. Yet, that is what he does.
There is a vast difference between these two.
Every time I say anything about Horowitz, whose words are fairly widely published, and therefore available for anyone to evaluate, your sole defense is "I have heard him speak." I believe you Gary. But the words out of his mouth do not become coherent or worthy of respect merely because they have reached your ears.
Siarlys,
Galloway, Finkelstein and Ridley have all appeared at UC-Irvine, where I have personally heard the words out of their mouths. They are dopes.
Man, nobody misses a point like Gary Fouse! Too bad there wasn't some sort of a cash prize for that sort of a thing.
Lance,
Must be that cognizant dissonance you keep bring up.
Must be that cognizant dissonance you keep bring up.
Is that a deliberate malapropism on your part?
Again, Gary, every one of them is indeed a dope - not because you personally have heard them speak at UC Irvine, but because I personally have read short citations of what they said. Or maybe it is something more than that you have heard and I have read... maybe its because they don't make sense or have any grasp of relevant facts?
(Like David Horowitz).
