Hat tip to Hot Air and Mediaite
"How many Saudi terrorists does it take to fly 4 airplanes?"
Naturally, I have always considered actor Ed Asner to be another liberal Hollywood jerk. Add idiot to that resume as well. Here is Asner's expert analysis on why the US Government was behind 9-11:

Actually Ed, only four of them needed to know how to fly. As for how long it takes a burning building to.......
Oh, what's the use?
But here is the one common sense argument that makes all these 9-11 truthers look like idiots:
Let's assume that George Bush, Dick Cheney, the CIA and the US Government were indeed behind the attack. How many people do you think it would take to carry out that conspiracy, the act, the cover-up and blame assigned to Al-Qaeda? I would guess at least hundreds-and that's assuming nobody in government accidentally became aware of the plot-before or after 9-11.
If that were the case, isn't it strange that nobody has stepped forth-out of remorse, perhaps-and spilled the beans?
Not that I don't know a thing or two about conspiracy and the conspiracy laws. I used the conspiracy law regularly while investigaing drug trafficking for DEA. I also taught conspiracy law classes (not as a lawyer) to state and local police in drug training courses while in DEA's Office of Training.
The fact is that anyone who really believes that such a conspiracy could be successfully carried out by so many people and that nobody has stepped forth to admit knowledge of such conspiracy, has to have watched too many Matt Damon movies and/or is an idiot.
Like Ed Asner.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: 9/11 "Truthers" are the liberal crackpot version of the conservative crackpot global warming deniers.
These idiots don't seem to understand the most basic fundamental principles of science. The basics of both chemistry and physics eliminate 99% of these "truthers" arguments, but they insist that true science doesn't matter.
I suppose there are one set of physical laws for liberals and their idiotic ideas and another set for the rest of us. It is just too bad for the liberals that our set of physical laws are the one's nature uses.
I think Findalis just said the same thing Lance did. At least it adds up the same way in my book.
I've said this before too, but to me, the best argument against the 9/11 truthers is that a man who was my supervisor at the time, in a hum-drum office supply management department, was interviewed by the FBI solely because he, like several thousands other commuters, was on busy freeways on the morning of 9/11, with a clear view of the Pentagon.
"Did I see the plane? Yes. Did I get a good look at the pilot's face? No." But he did see a plane. Not a missile, a plane. So did everyone else tied up in the usual morning traffic jams.
By the way, Barack Hussein Obama's birth certificate has also been seen by thousands. The department in Hawaii that possesses the original had to get a court order allowing them to triage requests for any more copies, so they could get the rest of their work done.
Siarlys,
I am not a birther. I am fully convinced Obama was born in Hawaii.

The laws of nature shouldn't be subject to ideology, but people act as if they are. This is why you have creationists, global warming deniers, flat earthers, 9/11 truthers, anti-vaccine fanatics, etcetera...
"The rest of us"??!!!
There is a correlation between the ones who want to believe the government is involved and the ones who believe the government is involved.
It is like the Elvis still lives phenomenon; Elvis fans are more likely to believe it than others.
"POSSIBLE ELVIS IS STILL ALIVE
Americans Who Believe Elvis Is Alive 7%
Elvis Fans Who Believe Elvis Is Alive 9% "

I think we're all agreed on just about everything. Congratulations all around, and drinks at the Alexandria Taberna are on me.
