MSNBC Suspends Keith Olbermann

Olbermann has been silenced by his own bosses.

Hat tip to Hot Air

The below report by Hot Air discusses the MSNBC suspension of Keith Olbermann;

http://hotair.com/archives/2010/11/05/did-olbermann-violate-nbc-ethics-code-by-contributing-to-democrats/

My immediate reaction (Olbermann's show is being hosted by someone else this evening. I didn't catch the opening.) is this:

It seems hypocritical for MSNBC all of people to suspend this boob based on the revelation that he contributed to Democratic candidates (which violates their policy of being.....

IMPARTIAL!!

How is it that MSNBC runs a blatantly partisan network and hires their opinionated anchors to lead election night "analysis" then suspends Olbermann for giving money to candidates? We all know where Keith stands.

The way I figure it, this was an excuse to get rid of a guy who has been an embarrassment to them from Day One. Next to go should be Chris Matthews. (I am not calling for that, mind you, but if I were running MSNBC......)

Anyway, in case Keith is planning to take hostages at the NBC Building and drag them up to the roof to fight off the bombers, I have good news for him.

It is possible that in the next two months, someone will overtake him in the Fousesquawk Jerk of the Year contest. Cheer up, Keith.

Right, like bringing up George Bush when talking about Reggie Bush.

This sounds pretty dumb, but if he did violate a policy that he knew about, then he really doesn't have much of a defense.

I don't really understand why such a policy exists, and it obviously doesn't exist over at Fox. Then again, I don't run a cable news network.
