On November 22, 2010, George S Rishmawi spoke to students at UC-Irvine, an appearance sponsored by the Olive Tree Initiative. During Rishmawi's appearance at UC -Irvine, the moderator told the audience that Rishmawi just happened to be in the area, so he was invited to come and talk. It appears that yesterday, Rishmawi just happened to be in the East Lansing area, where he was scheduled to appear with Rosina Hassoun, a local professor, at the People's Church.

It is difficult to stomach the invitations and presentations sponsored by the UCI/MSU, such as Malik Ali and George Galloway. Yet, when local Jewish leaders of so called responsible Jewish organizations support George S. R. who associates with Rosina Hassoun, it is enough to make one vomit. It appears that Hassoun supports the MSA, which is a part of the Muslim Brotherhood. She supports the Holy Land Trust, which has counter-terrorism officials asking questions about possible funding of Palestinian NGOs, with no guarantees that they are not funding terrorism. They certainly support Hamas and are anti-Israel.
Amazingly, some Jewish community organizations rush to support this sort of individual, when we have enough problems with the actions with the MSU's anti-Israel, anti-Semitic speakers at UCI.
What is the bottom line? These groups need to do their homework and research who they bring aboard to educate the Jewish students, in who knows what.
