(Video hat tip to Frontpage)
As my readers know, I pay close attention to the happenings in Europe. With the Geert Wilders trial recently, hopefully, the Dutch are waking up. Here is a video of a Dutch TV documentary on David Horowitz.

Can't get the feed, but David Horowitz belongs in Europe. I hope he stays there. What a lazy bum. He wants the world to support him in the style he's become accustomed to, paying him fat fees for the rest of his life to talk about what a damn fool he was in his wild youth.
Siarlys,
When you can go on a university campus and endure the jeers and insults like he does, then your criticism might have more merit.
Oh, he's worth listening to BECAUSE he gets jeered and insulted?
I do not approve of gratuituous jeers and insults. If I spoke to him face to face, I could mop the floor with him without resorting to jeers, and keep the insults on the same level as his own rhetoric.
But, the fact that he endures jeers and insults does NOT sustain the conclusion that he is a rational or reasonable man, or that he has something to say worth listening to.
P.S. Although I am not in demand as a public speaker, I endure a modest level of jeers and insults from both sides of the gay marriage debate. Does that count?
Siarlys,
I HAVE SEEN HOROWITZ AT uci IN PERSON. DON'T BITE OFF MORE THAN YOU CAN CHEW.
Geez, Gary, you'd think that Siarlys just insulted your mother with that all-caps reaction.
Not at all, I just didn't want to retype it (caps was locked). Don't take it personally, Siarlys.
No apology needed for using all caps. I have been accused of "harassing" people in the payroll department where I used to work because I wrote in ALL CAPS a demand to correct a deliberate falsification of my time card. I am in no position to complain, and I have no desire to anyway.
I haven't bit off enough to be worth chewing really Gary. The fact that you have seen Horowitz in person at UCI shows that YOU adore him, which I already knew. It is not evidence that anyone else should respect what he has to say. Nor have you mentioned, based on your vast experience seeing him in person, what exactly he said that anyone should pay attention to.
I did watch a U-Tube video you linked to some months ago. He and the woman heckling him were both pretty sad. Come to think of it though, she didn't jeer, she just asked stupid questions betraying gross ignorance, and his answers gave no evidence of any better thought process.
If you are referring to the UCSD incident, he made her look like a fool. Actually, my impression of Horowitz is that while I agree with him and admire his courage, if I were working for him, I would probably tell him to F-off after a couple of days. Just my impression from afar.
On that insightful and honest note, I am willing to let this matter rest.
