Alan Grayson Tries to Defend the Indefensible on CNN

Congressman Alan Grayson, Fousesquawk's reigning "Jerk of the Year", went on CNN's Anderson Cooper show to try and defend his use of dishonest and edited ads against his opponent, Daniel Webster.

How do you defend running an ad where clips of your opponent are deliberatedly edited so as to make it appear he said the exact opposite of what he really said? And don't you just love the way politicians call their opponents "career politicians"? For the record, because Grayson did not answer the question, he never served a day in the military himself. Yet, he condemns his opponent for having a student exemption until he graduated then being rejected for medical reasons when he tried to enlist during the Viet Nam war. (Grayson was too young to serve during Viet Nam.)

God! What a slimeball Alan Grayson is.

Slimeballs have a track record of winning elections with this sort of slime. He's only doing what seems to work for Republicans. I think this year may be a tipping point of sorts. Voters are getting wise to the incessant drumbeat of political mendacity.

I would not be displeased if Grayson saw the Democrats retain a majority, while finding that he was not himself aboard the train when it left the station. That would clearly identify a high probability that his sleazy tactics are what cost him the election.
