Robert Wistrich on the Rise of Anti-Semitism

Hat tip to the Orange County Independent Task Force on Anti-Semitism

I am cross-posting an article from the Jerusalem Post. It is an interview with Robert Wistrich of Hebrew University in Israel. Wistrich is the author of the voluminous book, "A Lethal Obsession", which is a history of anti-Semitism. I bought it a few months ago and read it. Wistrich is one of the world's foremost experts on the subject.

Wistrich's statement about anti-Semitism being worse now than in 1910 has raised a few eyebrows. Whether or not you agree with that, it is my contention that it is resembling what we witnessed in the 1930s as the world headed toward WW II and the Holocaust. I share Wistrich's alarm. With the events in Israel seemingly headed to a conflagration, I feel that anti-Semitism is going to take on a prominent role on the world stage in the coming years. I wish it were not so.
