An ex-Muslim Puts it in Perspective

A hat tip to Linnea for sending me this article from American Thinker, which I am cross-posting. I think the words of this writer (Amil Imani) put things in perspective for those of us trying to stand up to the dangers of radical Islam without taking it out on innocent Muslims.

What I take away from the article is that we Westerners must sadly accept that Islam is more than a religion; it is a political ideology that seeks to conquer and impose its will through shariah law. We must resist it -to the death if necessary- lest we forfeit all the freedoms our forefathers fought and died for.

Yet, we must not hate the individual Muslim. I see this as a challenge that will grow in the coming years as the Islamists continue to push their agenda upon us. We should continue to encourage American Muslims to accept America's freedoms and stand with us to defend them. Unfortunately, most peaceful Muslims are silent, many out of fear. Their silence is making them irrelevant in this growing struggle between militant Islam and Western freedom.

Thanks to Mr Imani for putting this into clear perspective. I hope the gullible among us are reading his words.
