Malmo Update

Haaretz, the liberal Israeli press organ, has an update on the situation in Malmo involving persecution of Jews in Sweden's third-largest city. I have written before about Malmo. The situation there is appalling, and part of the blame rests with the mayor, Ilmar Reepalu, who has failed to take appropriate action because he hates Israel and has demanded that the city's Jewish community take a stand against Israel.

The sitaution in Malmo is a stain upon a nation that has prided itself on its tolerance of minorities.
