Malik Zulu Shabazz-In His Own Words

Hat tip to Hot Air. Video by Eyeblast TV.

The above video is of Malik Zulu Shabazz, spokesman for the New Black Panther Party on March 22, 2002-6 months after 9-11. This is not an uneducated man. This man is a lawyer, who obtained his law degree at Howard University. His words speak for themselves.

Fast forward to this week, when Fox News' Megyn Kelly interviewed Shabazz. When she asked him if he had ever referred to white people as "crackers", Shabazz hestitated a long time then conceded that he may have. Maybe Megyn should have asked him if he had used the word in the past 20 minutes.

The guy is a hater.

Hey, I thought that once we elected a black man we would prove that we aren't a racist country. I thought we were supposed to have put all this racism behind us. The first "post-racial" president, right?

In fact, like so much else, it has gotten worse. This guy is just another piece of evidence.

Miggie,

Remember Jeremiah Wright?

They wouldn't listen when we warned them.

I don't get it. He said that in 2002. Who cares? Having a black president was supposed to rid us of racism? Who is dreaming now??
How does the warning about Wright fit in? Running out of interesting things to post, Gary?

Ingrid,

The warning about Wright is relevant because nobody should be surprised that Holder let the NBPs off the hook.

And who is guilty of racism in this story?

Remember that Michelle Obama praised Malik Zulu Shabazz, who was her professor at Harvard. Hmmm, do I see a link: Michelle, the POTUS, Eric.
I tried to view the video of Michelle praising Malik, but it must have been pulled.

Anonymous (Squid),

I think you are mistaken. Shabazz is a law school graduate of Howard University (in DC). He has never been a Harvard professor to my knowledge.

You are correct Gary,

I confused Shabazz with Charles Ogletree, who represented Henry Louis Gates, the Harvard Professor. Although, Ogletree who mentored Both Michelle and Barach, was a Black radical at Stanford University when he edited the Black Panther newspaper called The Real News. Ogletree has been a close advisor of Obama before and after his election. If you want to read more, here is the link: http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=104928

I think we need a constitutional amendment prohibiting anyone named Malik from registering to vote or teaching at any university where students can obtain federally guaranteed tuition loans.

(NOTE: Please consider this to be sarcasm. As I have proven myself, in Fouseland, sarcasm can be mistaken for a commenter's genuine opinions)

Siarlys,

You have never read that from me. As much as I point out the jokers teaching on our campuses, I have never said they should be fired. Held up to public ridicule (from me)? Sure.
