From MSNBC News comes this little tidbit about John Kerry and his new 7 million dollar yacht, which he is docking in Rhode Island rather than his home state of Massachusetts where he would have to pay some $500,000 in taxes and fees.

Now I don't begrudge Kerry his wealth. He married into it, and to me, he deserves every dime for having to put up with Teresa Heinz Kerry. I will also go out front and state that I probably would have done the same thing in his position.
Yet, I wonder how this fits in with the tax and spend Kerry and his pals in government who are looking for new ways to tax us.
Already, we hear Treasury Secretary Tim (Turbo-Tax) Geithner lamenting the fact that George Steinbrenner's family won't have to pay their "fair share" of estate taxes on the Yankee owner's 500 million dollar fortune he is leaving behind.
So the dilemma for the Dems and the left is whether they should criticize Kerry for not paying his "fair share" to the state of Massachusetts. Maybe Charles Rangel could make a comment.
