Why are you surprised? I bet there are thousands of people in San Francisco who voted for George W. Bush, just as there are more voters who went for Kerry across the south than in New York and New England combined (just a slightly different distribution). Don't trust stereotypes, there is always someone who doesn't fit.
Its nice to see that there are still some in this liberal paradise and sanctuary city standing up for what they know is right.
I live just south of San Francisco and not many people here view Israel's sovereignty as highly as these individuals and as highly as I do. I say again kudos to these brave individuals!
