LA Plays Hardball With Arizona; Two Can Play

Going to war with Arizona; LA General Antonio Villaraigosa

The feckless leadership of the City of Los Angeles (mayor and city council) are showing every day how bad they can screw that city up. The city has expressed OUTRAGE over Arizona's new law, which may keep tens of thousands of more illegal aliens and gang members from taking up residence in the City of Angels.

First, playboy mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa, prohibited any city officials from traveling to Arizona on official business. Then the city council votes 13-1 to cut any commercial ties to Arizona.

So now Arizona, which supplies about 25% of LA's energy needs, is saying, "OK, two can play this game. No business with Arizona? That can also mean we will not provide you with any energy. How do you like them apples?"

So way to go, LA. Now your liberal petulance is about to cost you something you need even more than those illegal aliens-your energy.

LA would lose badly in a battle like this. Not only does LA receive 25% of its electricity From Arizona, but a good part of its water from there too.
