Syracuse University Students Protest Commencement Address by Bank CEO

Well, it looks like the little rascals at Syracuse University are all up in arms about who will be the commencement speaker May 16. Jamie Dimon, the CEO of JP Morgan Chase Bank has been invited to give the address, and the little socialists at Syracuse are none to happy about it.

Moreover, this morning, CNN was interviewing a student organizer of a petition to cancel the appearance by Dimon. Adrienne Garcia stated that she did not want a speaker "who I owe money to".

Stop!

Ms Garcia, as a trained investigator, I have deduced by your comment that Mr Dimon's bank (or some other bank) has given you money, and you don't like them? Stop and think Ms. Garcia. Is that what your professors at Syracuse have drummed into your head?

I also note another comment by the gal who resents hearing a speech by a "millionaire". Excuse me, but what's the problem with that? Isn't that what you would like to be someday? Maybe you could learn something from Mr Dimon. Besides, last I checked, Mr Dimon is guilty of no malfeasance. He runs a bank. Is that a bad thing? Show me he has committed malfeasance, and will understand your point of view a little better.
