Statement From Carleton University

In the aftermath of the alleged attack on two students from Carleton University in Ottawa, both of whom were identified as Israel supporters, Monday morning, here is a statement from a university spokesman as reported in the Canadian Press.

Jason MacDonald, a spokesman for Carleton University, said the university provides opportunities for students to discuss emotional issues.

"The Israel-and-Palestine issue is one of the things that can cause people to become emotional," Mr. MacDonald said.

"Our job is to make sure that these debates can happen without anyone's personal safety being threatened.

"We have met with student groups on both sides of such issues and told them that we are not here to tell them what to think but certain kinds of behaviour are not acceptable."

"Blah blah blah, woof woof woof, quack quack quack"

Yee gads! We are talking about an alleged case of attempted murder here, and this guy is going off about...

"Well, it's an emotional issue, but we tell BOTH sides what kind of behavior is acceptable, and ........."

I see Canadian universities are just as pathetic as American universities.

Ann Coulter was right.
