In my recent posting on MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell engaging in frat boy humor with Bill Maher regarding the Eric Massa fiasco, I made a joking reference as to why O'Donnell was sitting in for Keith Olbermann. I was not aware until late last night that Olbermann was out because his father is ill and in the hospital.
I seriously doubt that Mr Olbermann is aware of what I had written or that he is even aware of this blog. Nevertheless, I owe him an apology under the circumstances. So to Mr Olbermann, I wish your the best and I extend my apologies. Had I been aware of your father's situation, I would have left the joke out of the posting-and am deleting it now.
