Another UC Berzerkley Incident

With everything else going on within our University of California system in recent days, there is more tension at UC Berzerkley. Now it seems that last Friday, a student from the group known as Students for Justice in Palestine was charged with assault by campus police for allegedly ramming a shopping cart full of toys destined for kids in Gaza into the back of a female student who just happened coincidently to be a Jewish pro-Israel activist. What a small world. Below is a report from the Daily Cal. In the comments section, one reader has posted a YouTube video of the same SJP student a few days earlier trampling on an Israeli flag on campus.

And even more ironically, the same SJP student was involved about a year ago in an on-campus brawl with Jewish students during a Jewish on-campus party (previously reported on this blog.)

But don't worry. Read the "fine print" in the Daily Cal article.

"The university is taking quick action. Dean of Students Jonathan Poullard said an effort to bring together a broad range of pro-Israeli, Jewish, pro-Palestinian and Muslim groups on campus ultimately stalled on resolving long-running enmity between Tikvah and SJP.

He said each group-like any other student groups-have a right to exercise free speech, but must control the means through which debates are staged.

"My goal was not so much that I was concerned as to the 'what' of the conversation," he said. "I was concerned about the 'how' of the conversation."'

I do hope that sweet young lady will be bringing her attorneys and a huge lawsuit to the meeting. That would liven things up a bit, wouldn't it?

As usual, the sheep in the anti-Israel flock have no problem acting like morons and hurting other people to advance their holy cause of annihilation.

Findalis,

Hopefully. This guy has been involved in a lot of incidents up there. Yet he is still a student.
