It's half time at the Superbowl, and who are those old farts on stage? Apparently, some washed-up British band (The Who). I think Winston Churchill is playing the guitar.

Our kids are having their friends over, all in their 20s, and they are laughing at these guys.

The Who is one of my favorite bands, but they should have hung it up when Kieth Moon died (in 1978).
Roger Daltrey used to be one of the best rock singers ever. The last I heard him a few years ago, he sounded really horrible. Time to retire, guys.

It was so bad they couldn't even get the kids to run onto the field. Everybody headed for the hot dog stands as they played canned cheers.
I taped the game because it was on at midnight just for the half time show, and I agree with both of you (strange, isn't it) two old farts looking and sounding terrible.
I used to like them too way back when.
