Where's the Tolerance in Malaysia?

As one who has visited Malaysia once, I am saddened to hear about the firebombing of Christian churches in that country? What? You didn't know? The mainstream media has not informed you? Let me fill you in.

Malaysia is a majority Muslim country, but by no means 100%. There also Christians, Buddhists and Hindus. I believe the Muslims make up some 60% of the population. In past years, Malaysians tended to blame the Chinese minority when economic times were bad leading to Chinese shops being sacked or burned and some Chinese actually killed.

Well now the Christians have aroused the ire of the Muslim minority.

It seems that the Malaysian high court has recently issued a ruling that Christians are allowed to use the word "Allah" in referring to God.

That's it.

So now, nine Christian churches have been firebombed in protest. Go figure. Where is the tolerance?

Has anybody heard anything from CAIR on this?
