Viva Palestina "Update"

Today is January 5, and George Galloway's rag-tag band of Hamas supporters is congregating at El-Arish, Egypt in their frantic attempt to get their convoy of goodies into Gaza and into the waiting arms of Hamas. (No, they have absolutely no gifts for the people of Sderot, southern Israel who have been targets of Hamas rockets out of Gaza.)

The news reports seem to be, at the least, several hours behind actual events, so I go right to the Horse's rear-end-the Viva Palestina website to check up on the latest tweets or whatever the little rascals are sending back home.

It appears at this point, that the Egyptians are confiscating passports, stamping them with entry-and exit stamps, then removing the exit stamps and have given them back to the Galloway Gang. Several hundred Egyptian police have gathered around the VP gang, arguments have broken out and at least one scuffle has occurred.

Folks, it's a mess.

In the midst of it all, VP is sending messages back to their supporters to send more money to pay for the increasing fees the Egyptians are sticking them with, none other than America's First Idiot Professor, Noam Chomsky, is sending e-mails of support, some guy in Britain named Michael Hall is writing anti-Jewish poems, while trying to pick up plugs from Fousesquawk, and there is a supporting "news" article from the Socialist Worker.org.(whatever that is, but I have an idea).

Noam Chomsky

And George? Last seen, our weary traveler was having a refreshing bowl of milk.

It's a humanitarian crisis, all right. Whenever you have George Galloway and five hundred of his scurvy crew smokin' into town, it's gotta be a humanitarian crisis.

Gary, why do you always use pictures of female horses behinds?
Just wondering.

It's not intentional. Actually, I didn't even pay attention.

Honest.

I don't know what to say to that.
