Check out this audio from the Domm Giordano Show, in which Arlen Spector shows us all how a gentleman talks to a lady.

Conservative thoughts on the issues of today

Are you sure that isn't Jimmy Stewart interviewing her?
I don't know - he doesn't come off great, but she's not exactly coming off much better. She's not really answering his question. "I voted for prosperity." What the hell does that mean? It's like saying, "I voted for goodness and happiness."
I don't know too much about her, but everything I've heard is pretty awful. She's co-sponsored a bill to teach "alternative" explanations for the origin of life and propagates the lie that there's some kind of scientific controversy about whether evolution happened or not. (Which is bull - unless you count less than 2% of scientists enough to create a "controversy".)
She's also a homophobic hate-monger. And no, I'm not saying that just because she opposes same-sex marriage - it's because of the sorts of arguments she uses to make her point. Things like:
"Don’t misunderstand. I am not here bashing people who are homosexuals, who are lesbians, who are bisexual, who are transgender. We need to have profound compassion for people who are dealing with the very real issue of sexual dysfunction in their life and sexual identity disorders."
"If you’re involved in the gay and lesbian lifestyle, it’s bondage. It is personal bondage, personal despair and personal enslavement."
She is an awful person.
Lance,
I am not aware of those things you say about her, but I have noticed that the Dems and MSNBC go after her almost as much as Palin.
They fear her.
And you think she comes off almost as bad as Spector? If it had been me, I would have poured a pitcher of beer on that SOB.
I fear her too. She's not very smart, and she's hateful. I tend to fear people who are like that and are in positions of power.
Trust me, Gary, she's not exactly a shining light for you conservatives. You might want to back another horse.
Spector was rude, but she was being obtuse. The first is bad, the second is worse, I believe.
Lance,
My point here is not to praise Bachmann, but to point out that Spector was acting like a jerk, which he does with increasing regularity.
