"I don't deserve this."
You gotta be kidding! Fed chairman Ben Bernanke as Time's Person of the Year? What were they thinking? I mean, isn't this guy one of the villains who has helped bring about all this fiscal crisis?
Ben Bernanke?
Well, on second thought, I guess it is no more ridiculous than Al Gore getting an Oscar and Nobel Peace Prize-or Obama getting a Nobel.
Or they could have chosen Barney Frank.
Well, since it's a done deal, I might as well chip in with some of my own selections for this or that of the year.
Athlete of the Year- Milton Bradley of the Chicago Cubs (below in happier days as a Dodger).

Woman of the Year- Rachel Uchitel (one of Tiger's babes) There she is below with her unnecessary celebrity attorney Gloria Allred.

Rachel's on the right in case you can't figure it out.
Pulitzer Prize- Eugene (Chuckles) Robinson of the Washington Post for his "insightful" essay on Tiger Woods' "fatal attraction" to white women. What you say? Robinson already has one?
Best Actor- Arnold Schwarzenegger for his performance as a California governor.
Best Actress- Rosanne Barr, wherever she is.
Best male vocalist- JJ Smooth J or whatever his nom de guerre is.
Best female vocalist- Lady Ga Ga. What? She's already gotten it?
Anchor of the Year- Keith Olbermann for his "always straight reporting" on a host of issues nobody cares about.

"You Fousesquawk, are shredding the Constitution. Have you no shame?"
(No.)
Anchorette of the Year- Tim Geithner look-a-like Rachel Maddow- from Air America to MSNBC-what a resume!(Save your cards and letters, NOW.)
And my own Person of the Year?
Hmmmmm. Ah, what the hell-Ben Bernanke.

"I don't deserve this."

What? No Kevin Jennings?
There is someone who really
knows men, boys, the other
side. He would have fit perfectly
for Time's Person of the Year.
